Mid 2010

I blinked again and it was mid year 2010.
The two weddings took place in 2009.
First Melissa and Michael on April 18, 2009 and Susie and I on May 22, 2009.
The job Ended in April 2009 and I have not worked since then.
What will this year hold?
Some music!
Some travel.
Some reflection.

The New Year

You blink your eyes and it is already the last week in January.

I am thankful that 2008 is over as there are many new adventures planned for this year.

Hopefully the economy will improve so that I can retire to travel and perhaps move to a new home in an area other than Los Angeles.

My new avocation might well be music, chamber music, perhaps learning forms of music that I previously have not studied.

Many things will happen, perhaps 2 weddings, my daughter's in April and mine in May ... well, if the date can be reconciled.

A time for reading, a time for reflecting, a time for research, a time for travel.
Yes, this should be an interesting year!

Two years have passed

Time flies when you are having fun.
There are many questions that I have been pondering like,
I try to keep in contact with people and they seem not to call me back.
Is my deoderant bad?
Am I obnoxious or mean, or cruel, or boring?

I try to keep busy.
Music is my joy.
I play cello in several different groups.
Sometimes I even get paid for my music.

I seem to be developing friends.
I wonder how that happened!

I like to be inciteful.
You would think that after all of my years,
that I would have more to say.

I have learned to be calm.
I appreciate meditation ... or the knowledge of it.
I do not practice meditation as I once did.
Perhaps I should.

I like to reflect on my experiences.
I would like to share them.
But, that will be at another time

Second Installment

Perhaps I will start a conversation on spirituality;

perhaps a discussion on relaxation or desensitizing anxiety,

or perhaps some lessons learned in my dealing with reality.

I invite any readers to comment on their experiences.

Remember, this is reality, not fantasy.

Meditation is a state of relaxation, not a state of euphoric dreams.

First Installment

Just what I wanted! A blog. I have been fighting it for months. Always an excuse or a claim to having anxiety. Here it is!
